  • on.site scouting, screening, identification of new energy potentials
  • implementation of long time-span measurement units
  • geo-siting of morphology, rock units, soils
  • associated co-potentials like mining, turism etc.
  • contact establishing with communities and land owners
  • guidance between investors, developers and community

Some grassroot eolic exploration has been done since 2006 in Coquimbo Province, IV.  Region and first solar energy screening within the Atacama desert, II. Region (2008/09).

Exploraberg forms part of  recent funded Renewable Energy working group  from Camchal, where experts actualize and discuss national energy market situation. We promote clean and green technologies, to support social employment and national autonomy in energy resources.

Background information: All nations  around the world are worried about their actual and future carbon dioxide emissions. Everybody can find lokal information in internet, for instance in a  SHELL-sponsored global study. Chile does not still appear as high carbon emission producer, but situation may change in a couple of years. Otherwise, Chile is one of  the prime countries of the world, where really all known renewable technologies can be applied! Hidraulic by-pass technology and wind energy became to install last years, but other technics like solar and geothermal are still under prospectation.

Statement: “The resource sunlight is the only one of actually availables energy resources  on earth increasing in temperature. Unfortunately triggered by mostly industrial greenhouse gases during last decades. We have to win, earn and use all these stuffs which ones become abundant and not rare (like oil) for heat, cooling and new energies, independant from where they come, for common peace, without political and religeous frontiers.[Karsten Berg, 04/26/2010]
